British Airways will offer no-cost quick in-flight wifi by way of Starlink partnership
Travelers on British Airways are set to use quick connectivity in the air free of charge after a new deal involving Elon Musk's satellite provider.
Free and Quick Wifi for All
The airline announced that the no-cost, “quick and reliable” wifi provision through SpaceX becomes offered to customers in economy, premium economy, or first class as of next month.
Broad Deployment Throughout Various Carriers
The parent firm for British Airways, IAG, announced it had reached an agreement with the satellite firm for providing internet access for over 500 aircraft operated by the group's airlines, including Aer Lingus, Iberia, and Vueling.
Smooth Internet from Boarding to Arrival
The airline explained that the implementation of the system formed part of a seven billion pound “modernization” initiative and would provide lag-free wifi access for travelers from boarding through landing, also when in flight above seas and far-off locations.
Customers will be able to link multiple gadgets and they will not have to use a special password.

Current Internet Options
Basic connectivity service is currently offered to British Airways passengers across nearly all of their jets using their .air service.
Enrollees of the airline's frequent flyer program may dispatch messages plus text-based emails during flights without paying, while passengers wishing to stream audio, movies, and content during their travel who are not flying in premium cabins may be charged from four pounds ninety-nine to twenty-one pounds ninety-nine per connectivity plan.

The airline's leadership are working to improve the airline around following a period with financial constraints, IT problems, labor disputes, and large-scale layoffs.
British Airways noted that application with artificial intelligence contributed to the airline to achieve their on-time performance to record highs from 2012.
Financial Performance
Recently, British Airways announced a rise in operating profits for the first six months recently, helping to push IAG’s profit upward.
IAG is due to announce their results covering Q3 from July to September shortly.
Other Satellite Partnerships
British Airways’ announcement follows days after telecom operator the telecom firm announced it was teaming up alongside Starlink to improve cellular service in the countryside across the United Kingdom, letting customers to automatically hook up phones using orbiting devices if there is no standard mobile signal exists.
